10mm is quite a lot to squeeze, is it steel? or alu?
steel would just go,(even though i wouldn't want to do it) but defo not alu.
can you re-space the axle on the hub? -

Is it possible to "squeeze" a 120mm hub in a space of 120mm? If so, are there any reasons it shouldn't be done?
Very possible. 120mm in 110 on the other hand could be done by respacing the hub or cold setting the frame. I'm assuming you've bought a keirin frame. I'd say respace or build a rear wheel now and sort the front later.

its steel - i cant find much online about this situation apart from people asking where to get 110mm hubs.
What's the chances of the stays snapping/breaking/dying/melting/whatever?

sort out the hub, best/safest bet.

Typo in first line (fixed now) - its 120mm hub in 110 spacing.
When you re-space, can you do that without dismantling the rear wheel & hub?

yeh, keirin frme

totally depends on the hub, if it's got a solid axle there is a good chance you can change the bolts etc to fit. if not not unless it's a phil, which you can get new axle spacers for.

Just put the 120 wheel in the 110 gap.
Is it possible to "squeeze" a 120mm hub in a space of 110mm? If so, are there any reasons it shouldn't be done?
I dont want to build/buy new wheels just yet; id rather use what i have noe for a few monthes if possible.
