  • I cracked me frame, but am selling the forks in case it heps someone out. It's not about the dorrar. If you want it and you are a member on here, just drop me a PM and you can have it for nowt. More info here:

  • I may be interested. I snapped the fork on an old Carlton frame and haven't replaced it yet.

    I'm pretty sure it'll be a 1" steerer. Could you please measure the length of the steerer tube and the thread for me? Also the distance from brake bolt to dropouts would be useful.

    I live outside London but would pay for postage.

    One other guy has PM'd me about these, so they may be gone. But, I think I need to check the measurements for both of you before we can be sure. I'll find a measuring device today!

  • Ok got the measurements:

    The steerer is a total of 140mm long, with threads over the last 25mm.

    The distance from the centre of the brake hole to the centre of the dropout is 370mm. The centre of the brake hole is 10mm from the edge of the metal (if that makes sense).

    The steerer is indeed 1" outer diameter.

  • I dont know if you found out or not but i believe the frame was built at Worksop in September 1975.
