2008-05-07 - Rider Down, Clapham Common

Passed what appeared to be a lady commuter on a hybrid down at the junction at the top of Clapham High St, Common side - police and ambulance on site. Woman appeared to be lying on her back with the bike still attached - seemed strange but the paramedics were all gathered round trying to extract her from it, she seemed concious but it looked a bit nasty, anyone else see what happened?

I didn't see it but I will say that some of the driving around that area leaves little to be desired.. it's fucking bonkers in rush hour, I normally skoot up the back way to avoid it on the way home

glad i missed that post. that would have worried me, my wife was cycling in today. around that area.

and it is rough. wandsworth roundabout. last friday. i got knocked off. no damage. driver is paying me £20. the price of re-truing my wheel.
i couldn't be arsed with anything more as i wasn't massively hurt and my mike wasn't broken.

Surely it isn't a good idea to be MCing as you're riding along.

it's all about spitting bars as i'm overtaking cars.
