is it because of this?

Do you mean the label as in sort of designer label? Like liking Armani because it's Armani even if it's also not that nice and way too expensive for what it is?

repost
I'll see your fuji x Obey and raise you a Losa x Stussy
Can you imagine taking this picture and NOT removing the wierd stand thing.
Pedals in wrong position
Velocity stickers need to go?
Don't lock one up outside the Rio anyway.

I have a pal who bought one of these bikes. The headtube decal was just that: not a proper tin badge.
And, wierdly, it has a brake hole (but n obrake) on the bridge, but none on the fork.

Then that's a negative. I was surfing, saw the bike with it's lovely lugs and mix of utility matt black and pimpy gold anodised bits and thought wow that looks cool. I then found out more about Fairey and Obey but wasn't aware of them before that.
Skullhead what does your pal reckon to his/her Obey?

He's on here sometimes, I'll get him to respond to that.
For my money I think it looks a bit lax on the angles to truly be called a 'track bike'.

shepard fairey/obey is so overrated. it was cool when he started doing the stickers waaay back and it was this non-commercial thing but since then it's been all about doing the same trick all over again.
like bikesnobnyc said (in part) about this bike: "collabo's: it take 2 to rip you off". -

Ha!
Thats exactly the image I was going to post. -

Do so, it would be interesting to hear what he has to say. Most 'track' for road frames are though aren't they. I mean even stuff like the Steamroller/Wrongster etc. or Fuji's own 'Track' the geometry is a bit more forgiving so less likely to be twitchy on the road.
Non?

Hella bike! I love it.

I like it, but the whole matte black thing with gold components is a bit over. See the Standard Hotel x PK Ripper for the same look, yet again...

Did I just PM to nothing then?

I have no idea what's happened to your PM. I'm just saying that there are rules about selling here. And certain conventions... such as giving a good description: size, condition and price (ONO, flat price, offers over such-and-such, whatever), conditions of sale (postage? collection?). You know. Helpful stuff.
Not sure exactly why but this bike gives me wood:
