For Sale: Royal Enfield Hornet

Good ladies & Gentlemen of the forum I have an old 5-speed Royal Enfield Hornet, and not enough room for it.

These pics were taken this afternoon.

I took it off the hands of a lady clearing her garage, it had been there since her husband bought it many moons ago. It's got several tiny marks on the paint, and could do with a de-grease/re-grease, but it's otherwise it's *perfect. *I took it for a ride to check if everything was in order and it's grand. I had a huge grin entire time.

It's worth me mentioning that all the components are original and as it came from the factory. Including the plastic Brooks saddle and plastic grips. The bike's crying out for a sprung Brooks, and cork grips in my opinion. Maybe a wicker basket too?

Dropouts are semi-horizontal, forward facing so you could go fixed/ss if your into puppy killing.

So if your tired of your scary-lo-pro-slave-bikes and fancy an altogether more civilised ride then make me an offer. I need the money and space for the next build.

If I put it on Ebay & Gumtree, I'll most likey ask for £90 pick-up from Cheltenham, or I can box & courier it for and extra £25. But I'd take less form a forumenger.

Right just measuered it centre to centre. I can't believe I didn't put that in.

Seattube is 21.5" (54cm)
Toptube is 22" (56cm)
Standover is 32" (81cm)

The geometry is very relaxed and comfy, so there is plenty of room for long legs.
