Nowt wrong with lancasters. IT is just the graphic designers / branding people behind the London one are retards. But that is my opinion.
Ride your bike for 6 month - a year so you can figure out what you want in a new bike. After a week you don't know what you will want in terms of geometry / material e.t.c What are you going to use the new bike for? You need to know the answers to all these questions before you can start looking for a new bike.

I think we're being a little harsh here - who amongst us doesn't secretly covet a new bike? Another bike? More bikes? BBBIIIIIIIIIKESSSSSSS? I've got my brain working overtime on three new machines as it is.
Dude, if you love your Langster, enjoy it and have fun and if you want another bike, do some research and ask some questions. See you out there some time!

I agree with sano.
I for example desparately want a holdsworth, due to the fact that I live 10 mins from the store.
But can't afford dales. damnit.
I also want to get rid of some of my bikes. Because I only need 2 and have 3.
I just thought he might like something different, you know, more edgy. -

As everyone knows the perfect number of bikes is n + 1 where n is the number you currently have.
@eyebrows - what is this 'only needing 2' thing you speak of? I'm confused.

Buy one from someone on the forum. Then they can buy another one. Then someone else can buy another one.

Hi Charles-co, if you've got money and want to buy a new bike for yourself then why not? It's not like you'd have trouble selling it on for almost what you paid should you find that you prefer something different down the line. The comments above are true enough, you'll know more about what you like the more you ride but that does not mean that you wouldn't love riding a BJ or Mercian if you were to buy one tomorrow.
Anyway, you don't say what kind of geometry you're looking for or what your price range is, that would certainly help narrow down any suggestions.

I have too many bikes easily. I just need one in london and one in oxford. (and a MTB).
But between you and me, I may be adding a 4th (and very, very special) bike to my collection. I just haven't decided whether I could actually sell any of the bikes I have now, and TBH I don't realistically need more than one fixed gear. (but yet I have 3).
If that 4th bike comes, I think the Bob Jackson might go, but the 4th is incredibly special.
More likely though I'd have to sell on the one i got recently for a ridiculous steal. -
