However long is that stem?!?

120 mm. I need it - I have similar proportions to your average gibbon. ;)

It's a nice bike, Orang-Utan geo or no. Low-flange C-Rec hubs?

Is that Aero post near it's end?

They're Miche low flange ones. I wanted Record but my budget dictated otherwise. Plus you always have to have something to upgrade, right? ;) -

Yes, absolutely on the limit. I can't seem to find a longer one although I think Campagnolo did them towards the end of their production.I'll keep looking. I've a Record Titanium non-aero seat post on another bike that may end up on this one.

From the length of the head-tube I'd say it's a fairly large frame, 58 or bigger? But with the length of the stem and the fact you've got the saddle set right back on its rails is the frame a tad small for you? Lovely bike all the same.
I've been building up an Eddy Merckx frame I bought on t'ebay over the past week or so. It's close to completion so I had to share it with someone!
I just need to add pedals and bar tape and it'll be good to go. The plan is to ride it at Herne Hill.
