Wanted: Needed: Raleigh Badge Please!.

Hi, first post!.

Just bought an old raleigh 20 as a project for the girlfriend and i'm thinking it's going to need a nice condition badge
to bring it all together.

If anyones got one lying around gathering dust??

Hmm.. is that actually a Raleigh?
Looks different from all the ones I've seen (dropouts, headtube length and 'dimples', one-piece cranks, arrospok, tubing and geometry in general...) What does the painted-on headbadge say?

well i still havnt actually seen it in the flesh yet. found it on ebay and seemed like an ideal project.
i think the wheels probably made me buy it!

on the listing it called it a 'freeway shopper' but cant find anything else with that name anywhere?
this is the bast i can do for the painted on headbadge!. i think it does say freeway but don't know anything about them..

it doesn't look like any Raleigh I have seen, I have a collection of R20's - folders and shoppers .

Does it actually say Rayleigh as in Essex ? If it does that is an entirely different animal.

i have 3, one old and buggered, onefairly good on gold background and one fairly good on silver background. I bought a bunch of headbadges on ebay to get the one i actually wanted...

spent too much to get mine, but i don't think i'd actually be able to sell these so you can have one.
