Offer still stands.

I've got a rear brake from a LeMond Fillmore which is yours if you want it, it's missing pads, but otherwise is as good as new (got brake levers too).

Forgot to mention that im running a 700 wheel in a frame that originally had 27" wheels in it. So i guess it would need to be long reaching?
-
• #8
very possibly.
you should measure the drop first.

i assume by drop you mean the distance between the bolt hole and rim? (this is going to be a stupid question isnt it)

That is not a stupid question. I'm reasonably sure that the answer is yes. Long drop will be required. 49-59mm?

exactly, the direct distance between the bolt hole and centre of the rim.
will give you an idea of range of drop required.
I do know that some 27" bikes have gone to 700c without having to change the calipers, so it does happen
Does anyone have a rear brake kicking about that they dont want and would be willing to sell me for cheap?
I could really do with one asap just converted my bike from fixed to single speed and would really like to know i was going to safely stop everytime i wish to do so.
