you can get a nitto shim
i've always used a shim where appropriate - i think goldfingers even come with a shim in the packet.

my dirt harry did.

i think Em might take offence.

Ooh, that was good. :D

Dirty harry are bent so you can fit them on a curve and come a with a shim.

Jonny, i've got a de-adonized Acor cross top lever (thanks Mark if you're lurking). Doesn't fit the clamp point on my nitto's. Its the third lever i'd tried, so I also have these two if you want one? . Can bring 'em SLondon drinks on Monday for a gander...

Jonny, I've got a spare set of Nitto shims if needed, could bring 'em on Monday?
But tbh, I think the lever should just fit on flush. I have a B259 on my bike which are the same width. I was trial & erroring with my goldfinger and fitted spot-on, even on the curve of the bar

scott edited it.
he said something like, 'if you've cut them down you can fit a brake lever on em"
so i came up with a witty risposte. it's kind of dead now 'cos scott took away the first bit.
ok, back to sleep everyone.

I thought he said:
"If you fit Em into a Nitto RB3214xyz.69 you can cut her down into the shape of a giant swan and sail her across the Thames with a brake lever across her arse."Actually.

If you cut EM down you can even fit a brake lever on her, across the top, no need for a shim, just use regular clamp and bob's your mother's brother, she stops like a train hitting a brick wall, with a pink brake cable of course...;)
i think.

cheers guys, snowy could you bring those levers down to south london beers on monday dude. and BRM, as discussed last night dig out a shim. will try out a few options and see what's best.
goldfinger not really an option as she likes to get at least two fingers, preferably three on the lever. bit of a panic merchant like.

I'm going to avoid the obvious jokes, as she's a friend of yours, JW. :)
Got the shims in my bag, so all is good for Monday.

snowy, just to say thanks dude, nice one. BRM, thanks for nothing ;) see ya thurs
my mate just got some of these from freshtripe and i have cut them down for her. thing is her current brake, can't remember what make etc. is a little large for the diameter of the bar. i know i could shim it somehow but would rather get her a nicer brake lever for it anyway - appreciate any suggestions peeps
