Webby,
I might be interested. I'd be after frame, headset and maybe cranks. What would you want for them?
Also, is it last years paint job (red and black)?
-
• #7
get a job picco, then buy a lavoro. then go to hernia hill.
-
• #8
In order to get a job I need a mode of transport to get to the interview, and what better than a track specific, ultra-brittle-pothole-fearing bike which is basically a more expensive version of what I already have?
Males sense in my head...ish
-
• #9
'males' sense in my head... sounds a bit weird, no?
-
• #10
Picco,
No Fork?
YES ON THE COLOUR TOO.
WITH THE BLOCK GRAPHICS.
-
• #11
Also Skully, there's a difference between HAVING a job, and actually DOING it
-
• #12
Yeah, fork as well
-
• #13
this bike?!
-
• #14
Possible seatpost interest here. is it 27.2mm? length? dorrar?
-
• #15
picco:
yeah why no forks? you gonna put some tasty 80's steel road fork on there? Seriously though BUY IT
webby: ignore all this banter... picco's been lusting after one of those for a loooong time, if he says he wants it, he probably means with the sharp-as-a-knife aero forks to match.
-
• #16
uh oh picco dogsys got the scent
-
• #17
Yeah, just thought that myself.
If it's Dale's size it's too big for me anyway.. unless he's looking to punt it on GRRRRRRR
-
• #18

Saw some bredo rocking an old skool steel version round town once, sweeeeet
-
• #19

-
• #20
Webby,
I'm off to put £10 on Philip Senderos to score 1st at 50/1 so I can pay for it.
Private message me a figure for said package. Ignore Dogsballs, he's only flirting

WHISPER SWEET NOTHINGS IF YOU WANT IT PICCO.

-
• #22
do it do it do it
-

Yes, there is a guy riding essentially a Pista Classico but with those 'Stealth' graphics on black. Chrome fork on it. It is so nice it hurts. I chatted to him at the lights last year and was tempted to kill him for his bike.

No fork = need one drilled for brake?
That bike is gorgeous, i'd have one if you could stick a brake on it and not kill any puppies in the process.
-
• #25
the Lavoro fork is drilled for a brake.
well, webbington was using a brake on it last time I looked.
Tentative feelers really.
I have a Lavaro that doesn't get ridden enough.
I may split it and just sell the frame, or possibly complete.
Dura ace cranks Condor hubs with cxp22's, newton pista bar and stem, carbon bonty post. with brooks swift (ltd)saddle (i even have the matching saddle bag)
any ideas on what it's likely to be worth or even any offers?
