I've got a stupidly filthy system x on an old thin mavic open pro going spare.
To say it was clean, true and smooth would be a Max Moseley defense lawyer moment, but I can bring it to SLondon beers next week if you don't see anything else?

on one ones are £15.00 for a hub

I have a new Surly flip flop, 32 hole, 130mm width, still sealed in its bag. Probably too pricey for what you're after though? They're £57 in the shops but I'm open to offers.

the on one ones are very similar to the surlys
-
• #9
yer but the on one one's are double fixed, i need fixed/freeweel
-
• #10
you can put a freewheel on a fixed attachment
-
• #11
sounds like it would end up costing me the same as getting a proper flip flop hub, and wouldn't be as strong, thanks for the help though

You can put a freewheel on a fixed side.
You cannot put a cog on a freewheel side as there is no lockring.
So... if you ever strip your threads, you can still ride fixed with a fixed/fixed, and you can still ride freewheel.
But, if you got fixed/free and you strip your threads you can only ride freewheel. -

hmmmm this is all sounding quite good now, maybe I shall get a bolt on freewheel, max/vb how would I go about getting one?

BMX freewheels made by Shimano. Or... the Rolls Royce of freewheels are made by White Industries.
Hey I'm currently trying to slowly build up my polo bike and was looking for a rear flip flop hub (gf says she'd like to try single speed so it would have to be a flip flop hub) Really looking for lower cost rather then great performance as it wouldn't be my main bike.
Thanks
