i buy milo at morrison's. and vegemite. didn't know it was that difficult...
now, does anyone know where i can get Coopers Pale? -
• #15
It's not Australian Milo from Morrisons. There is a difference. The Vegemite is fine though, but you can get bigger jars at Waitrose.
Waitrose do Coopers red longnecks. I've only seen stubbies of Coopers Pale at bars and the (now closed) Beer Shop near Old St. -

i think you can buy coopers (and little creatures) from borough market, too.

I've heard the UK stuff is made in the middle east or is the same as the stuff there?? It's not as fine, slightly darker, more granular and tastes inferior to the Oz stuff.

My milo says it was made in Kenya, and now that you mention it, it does seem more granular. Interesting.
I have no comments on english women. -

I have no comments on english women.I used to eat a LOT of it (straight from the tin) so I noticed a difference with the local stuff right away.

*Another possible use is making a normal cup of cold Milo and microwaving it for approximately 40-60 seconds. This gives the Milo drink a biscuity cover on top.
*
Intriguing. Going to buy some on my way to brick lane tomorrow! :D -

i want to do a blind tasting of real vs fake milo.
maybe also do a tasting of coopers pale, while we're there.
Just cause every topic with anyone mentioning going abroad also mentions hippy wanting milo etc etc I thought I would point out that you can get it in london.
For all of you missing things from home (home being Aus or SA) this shop which is here might be able to help, i know they sell milo and a load of other things that you normally can't get in the UK. Hope this your addiction hippy
