Bb/cranks Swapping

would a shimano 105 bb + tiagra cranks & chainring fit on a bianchi pista? Would it even be worth swapping it out for the stock one? I ask cos i had these on my road bike that died, but i loved the feel of it before the frame snapped and it's all just sitting in my shed gathering dust...
Know I'll need some tools to do the job, but just wanted to see if it'd even be worth it. If it is pointless is anyone after these redundant parts?
(Stock Pista cranks are Truvativ - not sure about the bb)

Are they BB shells British or Italian thread - what brand frame was the road bike?

the pista i think has english thread, and shimano style BB cups, so tool-wise you'll need:

1. 8 Mil allen key to get the bolts out of the cranks (make sure you have a big one to get decent leverage)
   
2. Crank extractor (standard campagnolo size - used by everyone except TA and Stronglight) + either a socket set or a nice big adjustable spanner or neither depending on the crank extractor
   
3. Shimano BB tool + either a socket set or a nice big adjustable spanner
   
4. Beer (one should do)
   
   

You might not even need the shimano BB, it could simply be a case of swapping the cranks. Things to think about are the chainring size(s) on the tiagra cranks and the influence of road cranks on the chainline of a track bike. The stock cranks aren't amazing on the bianchi, but i'm not sure if tiagra would be much of an upgrade.

Nice one. Crank extractors are a useful tool to buy, not too expensive. Just a little thingy that screws into the bit where there's a bolt on the bottm bracket end of the cranks (obviously take the bolt out first), then once it's gone in as far as it will go, tighten another screw thing which pushes against the BB spindle, 'pulling' the cranks off. If it works well it's very satisfying. :)
