LOL. Lampost Cushions in Brick Lane

On the ITN news.

Anyone seen these things yet. Apparently brick Lane is the top place in UK for people walking into lampposts, signs etc due to texting whilst walking. Maybe they should introduce trenches in between the pavement and the road to stop idiots walking out in front of bikes while they are at it.

don´t think the council spends too much on them, especially since it says 118118 on them (?). If they´re clever, knock on wood, they could make money

I love the philosophy behind this. People are having accidents because they are not taking care, lets remove even more responsibility from them. The best safty feature is common sense.

If you can pull them down lower, might protect your bikes top tube from scrapes.
