  • Anyone know where i can get one or even a website? I cant find a thing

  • Jos has one, dunno if its for sale tho ;) might be worth asking.

  • i see. Anywhere that sells them new?

  • probably be £800 new

  • steep, maybe ill just get an old raleigh and copy the decals ;)

  • Beautiful bikes and pretty high up the njs tree. The stem on the top one pisses me off - deep drop stem at maximum extension. Argh!

  • My mate has one of these, but then he lives in japan. I have no idea how much he paid for it though...

  • Is that tied in place with a really long bungey?
Bungy? Bunjy? Bundgey? Budgie? Buggy? Bogie?

  • dont you have to be a kerin racer to get them new? or is that 3resheno?

  • it's in japan, so barely needs locking

  • chris crash dont you have to be a kerin racer to get them new? or is that 3resheno?

Most NJS frames are sold used, as the Keirin riders themselves take the majority of new ones - there's only so many handmade frames a company can make in a year - although most companies are happy to take orders, the waiting list tends to be pretty long.

As for 3Rensho - you'll only ever see them used, as Yoshi Konno (their sole framebuilder) was, sadly, paralyzed in a car crash a while back.

(EDIT: I think that Masahiko Makino - as in Makino bikes - was Konno's apprentice)

  • mercianary My mate has one of these, but then he lives in japan. I have no idea how much he paid for it though...

Deep drop stem at max height AGAIN!!

  • Whatchu expect? The frames are built for 5' Japanese dudes.. not western scum.

  • Looks pretty big to me that one.
    Headtube?

  • looks a bit like the daccordi i built for my friend

lpg's got good taste, fo' sheazy ..

    :p

    JIS bottom bracket only.

  • So this is NJS approved?

That fork definitely isn't. Look for an NJS stamp on the frame, possibly on the bottom bracket shell.

  • yes its not. I bought all the parts separately. The frame is NJS indeed :D

  • My fork is just Tange. i will try to find a better fork that has maximum clearance for this tyre.
