When I was 22 my gran sent me a balaclava (not sure that is spelt right)... She said it was for my paper round (I stopped doing a paper round at 15!).. It wasnt just any ordinary balaclava though it was a full on three hole IRA/80's terrorist style one... Oh and my Birthdays in May so not a massive ammount of use for it at that time of year...

I was once bought a set of egg cups by a close relative. I asked whether they were taking the piss and got the reply, "Everyone should have a nice set of egg cups".
I should point out that I have a fatal allergy to eggs.

scott not scot So it's Archie's 6th birthday today....and somebody bought him a bird feeder and a bag of nuts???
That's a bloody good present. You wait and see. Just make sure you don't eat the nuts and sabotage the giver's plan to turn Archie into Bill Oddie. :-)
Seriously, though, I do think that's a good pressie. Time will tell.

yes, the IRA ran gurrella missions almost exclusively in the winter, longer night give you more time to do your thing, and people are less likely to be just hanging about in the cold.
