Hi
I understand the importance of matching F+F (I have a merckx too!), but I have an old pair of Chrome Colnago forks (curved) if interested. Have been meaning to put on ebay for a while but never got around to it!

Con pista dor Hi. Anyone got a set of steel Merckx forks they want to sell. Colour irrelevant. To fit 55cm frame or similar. Must be good condition i.e not bent ! and have Big Teds logo on the crown.
That wouldn't be for a 55 Merckx frame with a dented fork that went on Ebay for $408 on Sunday would it?

It is for a 55cm Merckx frame, but it wasn't on Ebay on Sunday. Hang on, i'll just go and have a look in the garage.....
Nope, its still there. Bought it last year, but it had carbon forks on it, which the previous owner had fitted in place of the originals. -

Merckx Corsa 01 (zero uno). Bought it from a guy at work that raced for Interbike a few years ago. He got knocked off of it (no damage to bike), and has never ridden it since. He's also got an Alu Team sitting in his spare bedroom with 10 spd Chorus, which hasn't seen the light of day for about 4 years, and i was the last one to ride that as well.

Chrome Merckx forks anyone? 1" threaded/unthreaded (not too fussed yet) for a 57-58cm frame?
