I like carhartt stuff, but I think it is largely overpriced. I do dress "very 12 years ago" though.

isn't the neil st store a bit small for a 'party'? sounds a bit 'strokey-strokey' to me. :D

So TV and the Carharrt Party are the only options for this friday! Damn! I'm not keen on either.

Carhartt is what NY dustmen wear innit? seriously, it's just bog-standard workwear rebranded for us Euro suckers.....and don't even get me started on Dickies.

What about Dickies Winston.?I hear you are a big fan.
I like Dickies overalls but now I have little need for them so cheap castle ones are good enough for me.

I heard you liked Dickies. It was written on a toilet door.

The US workwear stuff is bombproof; I've still got a jacket I bought in 1990 that's just breaking in nicely.

the fickle hand of fashion. carharrt, dickies, pretty much every pair of trainers. we do love to get skanked!

My point was Carharrt abd Dickies is just cheap workwear....Dickies even make those super cheap gardening gloves which are 99p or summink over here.
Dickies stuff is really cheap in the US....not just coz of the exchange rate, just coz it's really cheap stuff, why us Britoners think it's trendy and pay about five times selling price in US is either coz we're stupid, or the Uk distributors are clever....or a bit of both?
-
• #23
bit of both i'd say.

They were never meant to spill onto the street. I doubt there'll ever be anymore! I was in charge 'that' night and had to organise the clean up...not nice! Not in favour with the neighbours ;-)

i was in rome and (for some unknown reason) wondered into the carhartt shop there and tried on this really nice shirt jacket thing and could not believe how expensive it was. i wondered into their neal street shop looking for it, thinking that the romans had it all wrong or that the currency blah blah blah, but no, it was still two hundred quid... rrrrrubbish. for that money i could get some rapha!
I'll be there
