• Sorry to drag up old Heath again, but this bit from the Guardian story cracked me up:

"Diana Wolozin told police she then tried to call him before going into his bedroom and setting up her massage table.
She then tried to wake Ledger and found he was cold to the touch.
Assuming he was unconscious, she rang actress Mary-Kate Olsen from Ledger's mobile phone, to seek advice."

    Well obviously.

  • Well, he might have just been stoned and asleep and had left a window open. Would you want the responsibility of waking him?

  • massage table? Okaaaayyy ...

  • good move..i would have gone one step further and invited Kermit the frog round to poke him with a stick.

  • did anyone check his pockets for loose change or the keys to his kryptonite?

  • anyone have a Reeves & Mortimer Death Tester lying around? would have been handy.

  • If you actually bothered to check the 2008 updated EU and US sanctioned Medical Emergency Handbook, it reads:

[cite]MEH 2008, chapter 1, page 4[/cite]"Should any untrained member of the public discover an individual who is unconscious and possibly dead, they should at once dial actress Mary-Kate Olsen or their nearest official Olsen representative. Under no circumstances should they either attempt to help the afflicted individual, except for a quick grope, or contact their national emergency services."

  • One of the reports suggested that it was actually a flat owned by Olsen, and that Ledger had been staying there while she was elsewhere. Which would kinda explain it.

    Edited to say:

Here's what one of the gossip rags says:

The cleaning lady called police. The masseuse, we're told, called the bodyguard for the Olsens. She called him because they're friends and he's an EMT. The bodyguard was around the block at Ashley's and he immediately went over. By the time he arrived, the cops were already there.

  • what do you think it takes to be the olsens body guard?

  • Q: Someone is unconscious, possibly dead, what do you do?

A: Laugh my head off, take pictures, steal his coke?

  • Steal coke first, then take pictures!

    Amateur.

  • i love what she did once she realised that he might be dead

"but moments later the therapist realised that Ledger may be dead, called Olsen again, and then called an ambulance."
