if toe overlap is a major issue for you, then don't get a BK.
unless you have a slack fork to go on, or very small feet
-
• #8
no i think 56 should be fine.....i guess.......as in maybe:-)

they's tall..
a 56 comes out high cos of the way high BB.
great, nippy responsive ride, not my fave for jumping on and off though.
if you've found one second hand then go for it

the toe overlap has never been a problem it just means that it is not very maneouvrable at very low speeds

I measured mine at 295mm, course if you use 170+ cranks your seat will be lower and the whole experience better for the road.
-
• #18
hey do you have a 56 then????? no i use 165s ....do you still have it???? can you measure the diestance form the centre of the front dropout to centre of the bb axle????cheers:-)

one thing i love about the bareknuckle is the high BB.
i was using clips and straps (not even low-profile pedals, but wide-lyotard style pedals), and i never got pedal strike. I kept trying, by leaning loads in to corners, but it just never happened.
and i was using 170mm cranks.
anyone????
