Due to the growing economic power of China I have been trying to learn cantonese all afternoon.

Best way to do that is to go to china. Or go out with someone who is cantonese.

Alas Norwich is not a hotbed of cultural diversity. So finding such a person is somewhat difficult. Im off too Hong Kong in March so i just want to get the basics down now and build on them when I get there. I think the fact that I can speak Japanese is just confusing matters further.

Yeah, I've worked part time during terms and full time during holidays since I left secondary school. It's a drag, but it's better than no money. It's absolutely mental in there. I work in a London Waterstone's too.

It's the one in Basingstoke, my home town - I'm back from London for the xmas holiday you see. London is so much better, this place is so uninspiring.
