  • I am ready for the holiday

    Kind Regards / Clark Kent

  • every day

  • I've just got back from a two hour pub lunch, and plan to spend the afternoon goofing around on the net and dozing off, while "rendering."
You see, work doesn't have to be a chore!

  • Difference between a pixel pusher and a pencil pusher. Saying that, the technology they provide me with here is a joke...

  • sam, for some reason my brain thinks that person is hippy?!

  • Naaa, Hippy doesn't wear glasses....

  • neither does superman ;)

  • all i can say is - you shoulda got a mac

  • Sam No, I feel like this.

I love 'rendering', when I was a 3D animator this was your ticket to freedom. :)

  • For a builder rendering is less of a skive :(.

    ...Not that i'm a builder.

  • Due to the growing economic power of China I have been trying to learn cantonese all afternoon.

  • Best way to do that is to go to china. Or go out with someone who is cantonese.

Again speaking from general consensus not from personal experience, on both counts. :)

  • I bet I'll feel like that by this afternoon.

For some reason I accepted a job at hmv over Christmas. I did say to myself I'd never work there again.

  • Ahhhh, the joys of an office. How I don't miss it since becoming a teacher...

  • Where do you teach?

  • I don't feel agressive at all in this office, the silence is deafening. I feel more sedated, like I'm slowly being put to sleep......

  • eeehhhh I bet I'll feel like that by this afternoon.

Retail work work at Christmas?!?!?!? Shit man, I'm sorry to hear that. Used to do it when I was a student. Not nice.

Alas Norwich is not a hotbed of cultural diversity. So finding such a person is somewhat difficult. Im off too Hong Kong in March so i just want to get the basics down now and build on them when I get there. I think the fact that I can speak Japanese is just confusing matters further.

Which HMV? I used to work in the BIG Oxford Street circus one when I was at Uni?

  • dogsballs sam, for some reason my brain thinks that person is hippy?!

I would've done more damage. People would have run. Alarms would have sounded. Another day at the office.

  • Vinz Due to the growing economic power of China I have been trying to learn cantonese all afternoon.

Wasting your time mandarin is getting more and more useful for dealing with China over cantonese.

  • lpg Where do you teach?

At the moment - Stoke Newington. Am on placement training so moving to Wanstead School in February.

Yeah, I've worked part time during terms and full time during holidays since I left secondary school. It's a drag, but it's better than no money. It's absolutely mental in there. I work in a London Waterstone's too.

It's the one in Basingstoke, my home town - I'm back from London for the xmas holiday you see. London is so much better, this place is so uninspiring.
