i'd have a go at straightening it with a screwdriver through the bolt hole, as it's already fooked.

I'm not sure what you mean by bend and not fitting, but keep in mind that there are diffirent clamp sizes and handlebar diameters, even if the're both Cinelli.

Also if you end up ditching it I'd love the clamp bolt if it's a front-tightener.

yeah jos i know about clamp sizes and stuff.
it's one of those old "ballbuster" steel ones with a nut protruding at the top. if you look from the side it's not round and the whole clamp is twisted. that's why the bars wont sit straight...
i'm not much of an ebay user, got a question for you ebay heads out there...
won a vintage cinelli stem, received the item and the clamp is a bit bent, so i can't fit any bars on without scratching it, and even if i fit it on the bars don't sit straight perpendicular to the stem.
so basically my question is, would you ask the seller to refund the whole lot including P&P then send it back? just when something isn't really too much money... it seems a hassle to do this kind of thing but i'm just not happy and certainly won't want to leave positive feedback. what would you do?
