The Hangover Ride - Sunday 16th Dec 3PM Hyde Park Corner

I am proposing a short central London ride on Sunday the 16th.

Nothing arduous as we should all have been rolling the night away the previous evening.

Meet up 12ish then a short spin around one of the town parks, head to some bike friendly place serving good food and drink.

Will be a great chance to brag, make excuses or cry about the racing the night before.

Also could serve as a FGSS Christmas meet before we all disappear for the holiday.

Route/Suggestions welcome.

NOT Highgate hill.

Any thoughts on the possibility of a later than usual start time. Nine will be a little too early considering the night before.

You could always do the tourist trail along the Southbank, from London Eye to Tower Bridge or whatever. Skid and trackstand your way around the pedestrians (but it IS permitted to cycle). Ticks the short/non-arduous boxes...

I want to start this around 2-3 o'clock to give everyone a chance to recover from the night before.

We will probably take a relaxed ride around Hyde Park, the Regents, find some place with nice eats around Camden?

That sounds like a sensible plan. I'll forego the food though as it'll make it much easier for you to find somewhere to eat.

I'm only riding to brighton again if we all do it 50*14!

I know there is also a cyclocross race at Herne Hill on sunday the 16th. Might be an idea. I heard from well informed sources that Keith from Condor is going to compete.
