damn! Thats gonna save a lot of rotating mass..

lol and make my self look mental.
No pedals means you can get through narrow gaps.
-
• #4
How does that work? Gotta be tricky trying to pedal cranks alone!
Were they actually riding or just rolling along to the nearest shop for some pedals? -
• #5
From Evans to Condor? or vica-versa is more liklely after seeing the prices.. ;)

stop giving condor grief now, that shop has been very useful to me and from a hater ,now i am a supporter.

Prolly just bought the bike and was taking it home where he had pedals.
Why he didn't take pedals with him, who knows. Maybe he just didn't expect to be picking up the bike today, but as it was ready took it in his excitement?
I would do it if I only lived a crazy short distance from the pickup point.

The PistaDex is still bullish then...
I like Condor, its central and practical, but I only go there if I can't wait to wiggle it ! :0

What? you mean you bunch of namby-pamby fakengers don't ride pedal-less?
I ride wheel-less - running along dragging the frame and fork between my legs. It's the purest form of cycling - fewer moving parts, less servicing, and the zen-like beauty of the metal scraping the tarmac.

I've just stripped my DMR. I was going to build a nice fixed/free offroader but now I think I'll just clean the frame up and run around with it.
You can't beat a totally stripped frame. It only weight 4lbs too (Perfect for the weight weenies) -

Those bars are way too wide. And there's a brake.

@ Stef - I shop at condor too - where else can you almost certainly get tubular tape / Dura-ace cog in London? they have a massive selection..
it was light-hearted comment based on the fact that Evans is down the road from them and cheaper.. and I think lots of people will realise that. -

Maybe he was just a weight weenie and was trying to make his bike lighter?
-
• #16
If you notice he also has a saddle but it holding on to that in such away that it is causeing some discomfort.
-
• #17
He was coming up Elm street, turned into Grays Inn then up over the lights at Clerkenwell road.
So he didn't patronise either Evans or Condor.Maybe he bought it hooky from Exmouth Market.
-
• #18
maybe he was reenacting one of his nightmares?......riding up elm street....get it......a nightmare on elm street.....ummm.
-
• #19
i shouldn't, but i did. laugh that is.

Sounds like a good theft deterrant. Q/R pedals.
-
• #21
"They" might not thieve it but "they" will see it's got no pedals and kick shit out of it just for fun anyway.

"It's driving me nuts!"
Today I saw a guy riding down Grays Inn on a Bianchi Pista with no brakes and NO PEDALS.
His foot slipped off the crank arm when he turned out of Elm street.
Anyone on here?
I once saw a courier on a Brompton too, crazy world.
