CHUG_IT for those of you who like watching couriers have a look at Todd Terry's epic 1997 hit 'Keep on Jumping'. Not only is it full of uplifting vocals and quality house beats, there is also some guy with poster tubes and sunglasses on.
Fantastic.
One of the worst dance tracks of the 90's. Todd Terry in self endulgent shite shocker! Bor'fuckin'ring!

I saw him at Legends in about 1992 and the rumour turned out to be true; he really did just play his own productions all night.

Early Tod Terry was decent - unreleased project, presents etc., saw him DJ at Leeds Corn Exchange in 92, a master of the 4 deck mix.
His stuff under the pseudonym of Orange Lemon, House of Gypsies and Gypsy Men was much more funky though. -

It's good to see courierness and other subcultures and extreme sports associated with music other than "punk" or metal which is unbelievably repetitive, dull and uninventive.....it's not like ALL skateboarders listen to thrash is it?
Anyway look at this video....

Anything he did pre '93 was ace, anything after wank. All that 'Bounce To The Beat' shite he did on all the Hard Times 12"s were all the same - same beat, same(ish) samples and everytime I've heard him DJ he's played his own shite all night cos he can't mix and it's easier to mix when the beat all sounds the same.
PM Dawn 'Straight From A Watchers Point Of View', now his remix of that is ream! As is his 'Project' EP's he did -

re: parts...yeh the drop handle bars and one of the frames was quite nice.
...the video though is pantaloons, lets be honest the 'heros' bike changes repeatedly and the 'chase' pedestrian to say the least.

james' message to me all makes sense now:

Todd 'The God's' at The Misery on Saturday doing a Strictly Rhythm party. It'll be like stepping back to '95 just with even more tourists

I happen to really like the Phat Planet track in TAG though, so I'm already biased towards it before even watching. The actual video content is superior too.
