StarrerGang well I havent carried a full Tesco fill with it. But the first test was fine
Only thing is that it now saggs a little when emptythats what i was thinking. when my chrome is empty i have to crank the strap almost all the way down as it is.
still an excellent modification- and great value bag for buck.

scott not scot well done man!....it came out great....hehe....i know all about swearing at the sewing machine....:)
Thanks ! But it would have been impossible without your help ! First time I actually meet you
down here for one of the rides I get the drinks. The only flaw in my upgrade design is that I had to leave myself an 'exit' in the inner layer.
So the stitches there are visible and I doubt waterproofness. But everything else would have
come close to a complete rebuild... -

Whot ? You lost me there. I always knew that your bags involve folding the time-space continuum
in the process. But us mortals, we have to stick with the laws of physics I'm afraid :)
Sewing is a real technical science ! It so much requires 3 dimensional imagination !It really makes me wonder why parking a van is sterotypically 'male' and sewing is 'female'
Good news on bag usage... It stayed dry during this mornings Sumatra rain commute
I realized lately that my stuff hardly fitted anymore into my trusted Timbuk2.
Its not sophisticated ,yet budget and I somewhat got attached to it over the years
So I could not make myself to get rid of it just for that and instead decided to 'fix' it
With the help of Archie (THANKS again man, You are a star! ) who sent me some material
I managed to tailor it bigger.
I am quite happy with the result but it involved A LOT of swearing at the sewing machine...
so for now its even more budget but also more custom in return ;)
The next step has to be the Growbag of course....
