Very handy
thankyou :)

Spokecalc gives the centre to flange dimension as 36mm not 35.5 but close enough for any wheelbuilding :)
2.4 66.0 36.0 66.0 36.0

oh yes.
can't remember where I got my dimensions from, but I used 36/66mm for my build ups on goldtecs

cool stuff, I'm hoping I can re build my wheels on to goltecs from harris/formula hubs using the same spokes.
what are peoples opinions on this? I don;t really want to spend £36 on new spokes, speaking to wheel builders some say you can re-use spokes (providing the wheel was a good build and not damaged) some say not to (including the 2 bike shops I spoke to, who probably wanted to sell me the spokes ;) )
thoughts of re-using spokes (they are only a few months old)

Reusing them should be fine, especially since so new. Best not to use for different spoke counts so I'm told as it puts the tension in new place which equals pain.

they should be pretty close in size, but the formula's are a fraction smaller? i would re-use the spokes, unless they are cheapo alloy ones.

Spokes are DT double butted so I think I will be re-using them :)

Think of it like this.
Under normal use the only spokes that should fail will be ones with some problem.
If the spokes have been used for some time and the wheel has not had some catastrophic crash / failing you know the spoke which are in that wheels are not sub standard ones.
If they are the correct length to be reused they will end up close in tension to how they where in the last wheel so will not be experiencing any different forces
In conclusion.
It's all cushdy.

When reusing spokes, it may help to number them all and note which side of the flange they were on before disassembling the old wheel.
The spokes will behave better in the long run if re-laced the same as before (so I am led to believe).
Anyone got the dimentions of the Goldtec track hubs to throw at the DT Swiss spoke calc? I need
Spoke hole PCD
flange widths (or just dist between as they will be symetrical)
