What warrants such a hefty price tag for any bike? Though Bob Jacksons, Witcombs and Mercians are beautiful bikes why are they so much more expensive then say my Lotus or someones Bianchi?

well, a Witcomb is now 3 times the price of a BJ, isn't it? since their little 'price re-structuring' a couple of months back

I discussed the frame spec with Barrie, but the the colour scheme is all mine.

Not that it hasn't been done before, but thats Barrie and DaFonie all over.

I'm glad that they say "Complete price £2200 inc. frame and forks" - for a moment I thought it was £2200 for the components alone and it seemed a bit expensive. Add in the frame and forks and it looks like a good deal.

nope, such is the hectic schedule of pro track racers these days that they just don't have time for another lap after the finish. With these new "Track Brakes" they can be on the team bus, heading for the next race before the back markers have even crossed the line.
