I guess a ring around the usual shops should find one in stock.
not that rare an item, it's a good solution because there's a much bigger choice of stems in 1 1/8" innit

Are you sure your steerer isnt 1 1/8? I thought you bought a 1 1/8th headset today... meh headsets are beyond my 20 to 11 brain.

fair dos.. bought a headset today too from evans. also got a seatpost. guessed at 27.2.
ok long story short...
new frame, new forks, 1inch steerer is uncut so will do that later this week, but need a stem....its low profile so don't want a long stem. was going to go for a truvitiv as i have one on my freeride bike. but it will only clamp a 1 1/8 steerer.
i want a small black type stem, anyone got any ideas? or does anyone know if i can get a plastic type spacer like you get with some clamp brakes?????
cheers guys.
