Actually, toe-overlap is the new gold (or is that silver?)
After knocking about on mountain bikes since I was a teenager when I moved to London and got a single speed road bike it was a big change, a lot of fun, and real exciting to ride. Now, inspired by this forum, and some persistant nagging from a fixed nut at work, I duly got a cog and locknut and flipped the back wheel...
...Having just back from my first fixed ride I have to say (once I got used to nearly being lifted off the saddle when slowing down) it was a revelation... sublime and brilliant at the same time! So, thanks for the inspiration, and see some of you on the Brighton ride on Sunday.
