sounds pretty expensive, the places that advertise in tnt magazine and all that probably do a better deal,
just box the bikes up rather than saying they are bikes, You can take one on a plane for that much.

best mate emigrates to New Zealand at the end of year and is now sorting getting things shipped, including two bikes, his De Rosa road bike and Olmo fixed.
got one quote so far of about £140 per bike. he is still shopping around - does anyone have any recent exp. of sending a bike to NZ and can they recommend anyone?
for £140 notes he is thinking might be easier to sell on the Olmo this side and pick up something there. anyone know of any fixie scene in NZ (Auckland) - he is worried he might find it hard to get parts, etc.
