Did i see this/you go past me a few times down Bethnal Green Road, Great eastern St, Old St around 8.40ish this morning?
First time post - hello!

That was indeed me on Bethnal Green road etc this morning! First ride of the bike, so kinda getting used to it!!
Stem etc is all what came with the found frame, just repainted it and the bars that I cut down black.
Running a 49 front 16 rear - not the fastest from the lights, but a nice gear when riding. Might look at getting an
18 at some point - but feel pretty happy with what I have. -

i was right behind you when you gave that van what for outside boots :-)

Ha ha ha.... I get a bit annoyed with drivers arseing around - just get on with it?
Chap in the passenger side gave me a confused look! -

nice one tomiskinky - is 903 some supernew Reynolds tubing we should know about? ; )
-
• #12
It's his house number, for those forgetful eves after a lock-in..
-
• #13
Yeah, super limited promo tubing - i'm a test guinea pig!!!
Like factory records, we assign all things with a company job number - hence CON//903. Just a bit of fun, but also a talking point.

Always nice when your local copy shop / graphics supplier does you a freebie.
Mind you, just given him a big window display job - so a bit of free vinyl ain't asking too much! -

man i can't believe it as well and she's actually a good looker!
Finally finished my first self build single speed. Yup, that Trek frame that didn't want give up its seized seat post!
So after a 2 week wait for the brakes (thank Postie) I finally rode it into work this morning.
Very smooth ride, no noises - gonna take a few days to get used to the ride position after riding the MTB for the last
18 months - and the cut down bars take a bit of getting used to also! Feels very rigid when out the saddle.
Just waiting for a chap to cut my vinyl graphics.
