Velo HIV?

vel d'hiv - "velodrome d'hiver" the winter velodrome in paris, very famous venue, mythological site of many early cycle feats.

subsequent darker claim to fame in 1942 when was the site of gestapo/vichy roundup of french jews for deportation to concentration camps.

nice, still like the old school one, that wayne posted. plus its a conversion with a front brake, could've at least used a proper track bike

Who can dig out that poster with soldiers on bikes? Think it was something about Fulham, a bike squad there or something.
It was on here for a bit then dissappeared when the servers collapsed. Never found it anywhere since.

Oh yes, it's Putney rather than Fulham, I remember what you're talking about, will look for it.
