I am now officially "thoroughly feckin' pissed off."
Strike didn't start til lunchtime.
So they delivered me a Customs and Extortion bill for 22 notes.....
I'm so pissed off I could delete my account, or send in topless photos of me.
Or both.

'Attempted Delivery Abroad, October 03, 2007, 6:42 am, GREAT BRITAIN'
This usually does not mean they tried to deliver it to you (ie: knock on your door and you were not there)
Most times an 'attempted delivery' means is that it is in your local sorting office as there is duty to pay (customs charges /import duty) - now normally I would suggest you wait the 3-4 days until you get a letter from the sorting office to say your stem is here, you need to pick it up and pay the excess charges, but with the postal strike I suggest you find out which is your local sorting office, ring them or go down there with your tracking number and some ID (passport) and a few quid.
I have never bought anything from the US without the above 'attempted delivery' thing happening, every time it was shorthand for 'it's at the depot, come and pay the excess'

I've been waiting for a package from ribble for nearly 2 weeks. It arrives today, but now the collection office will be closed. So no collection this weekend, by the time I actually get it, it'll be nearly a month since I ordered it...
Bloody ribble
Bloody PO

i got some tyres from ribble recently in 2 days.
My frame is due back from the enamellers tomorrow, having been repainted. Apparently the finish wasn't perfect.
The only part I need is the stem, which cleared Customs after a lengthy stay yesterday.
And the Posties are on strike for a feckin week!
CUNTS!
