Ambrosio/System Ex flange diameter

anyone's got some data on these (flange diameter, distance of flange from centre of hub)? i've got 2 rims and some spokes i would like to see if i can use those spokes i have to build a wheelset myself...

aren't these the same as formula hubs? If so, formula's website has all the details..

oh, if you end up needing 292mm spokes (or close), I've got LOADS you could buy for cheap

can i grap say 5 of those spokes? if they are 292mm :p

Funny you should say.. just built a pair:

59 flange diam
31 flange to center

Could be wrong but most of the generic track hubs tend to have 62mm flange diameters (Formulas, Joytech seem to at least).

Top-notch, I'm about to buy some spokes for a SystemEx/CXP33 wheel, so that'll save me digging out the tape-measure. :-)

yeah, you can have 5.. I've got 2 packs of 32 that I'd rather keep or sell as a pack, and then 16 more that anyone is welcome to pick up if they need a couple!

I had the verniers on the case and that is what I got from a [size=20]36[/size] hole hub.

the rims happen to be 36... and i happen to have 72 spokes.

found zenith hubs from kiwi for 45. they are the same as ambrosio/system ex/formula aren't they?

think so.. have you looked at sjscycles? Seem to remember them having a pair of nice 36h hubs for cheap that I was thinking of building with the 36h airline vuelta rims they also sell for a pretty good price.

yeah i have, do you know the measurements for those hubs? i remember they're 40 quid. but in that case i might just get zenith ones from kiwi for 45notes...

nope, sorry.. but they are probably similar and seeing as they're SJS's own hubs, I'm sure they could tell you the measurements.. £45 for the zeniths isn't that much more expensive anyway!
