  • Pistard.

    Lol.

  • I grew up just round the corner from Surosa.....Is it not a Dolan frame?

  • horrible font for that Surosa logo

  • I had a surosa track frame for a bit, it seemed ok, at least you can change the track end plates when they get worn.
I thought it was a little harsh around town compared to the dave russell 531 track frame i was also running but i guess that's alu for you. Welds are a bit globby, otherwise a good frame.

    Chris

  • jonaent (Jon) I grew up just round the corner from Surosa.....Is it not a Dolan frame?

quite like a touche as well.

  • it seems like a dolan frame to me....the cheapo one......isn't taiwanese production like you have one factory, which tig welds all the frames and then companies from the west enter the scene, buy them cheap ,all the same frames and stick their transfer on them rising up the price????? italian solutions my arse;-).......
if anybody ever seen Sonic cycles frame.......it's just re-branded fort.........made in taiwan as well these days.....

  • edwardes in camberwell also sell the own brand alu frame, which mr.edwarde told me is identical to a dolan and is made in the same factory in taiwan

  • dogsballs this seems nice, for £650. comes with tub's, but suppose you could ask to get clinchers.

That link goes to a set of hubs.

    Correct link (I think)

  • Where can I get that stand? I want one like that.

  • Probably be well easy to make one. Bit of scrap metal if you're feeling cheap, big mallet and a flat surface.

  • it's ok, it's got miche bits on it.

but where's the fun in having a dolan without actually having a real dolan and getting into a fist fight with the man himself.?

but £650 is too cheap, when you can get an old sprayed up frame and cheap parts for £900

  • i know where i'd rather spend my money for sure.

  • Brothel? Pub?

  • both
