Bike Snob has mentioned this in his latest offering. The general consensus over the water is that USD5,000 is a little on the steep side. Personally I think it's fugly....

I saw them at the Mercian shop when I got mine.... horrible..... The idea of the paint job is based on the traditional 'flip-flop' nature of fixed riding!!! They look bad, and way too expensive!

They are hanging in the boutique bit dowstairs in selfridges if you fancy a look. I thought being dragged in there by my girlfriend was going to be awfull but at least i got to look at something kinda pretty. The price was waaaaaaaaaaay to much though.

Should be appearing in the "Autumn Must-Have's" section in Arena any moment soon.
They remind me of maypoles and morris dancing for some reason.

If I was going to spend that much on a bike I'd rather have one with a decent paint job.

I was thinking I would take one of those designs into Vaz, and ask him to replicate it for me...

Been around ages these.
I do like the fact that Paul Smith has always been an avid cyclist (think he wanted to go pro until a serious accident)
and that he champions the British brand etc, but I do think it's far too expensive.
I personally don't dislike the colour schemes, (have the yellow and magenta bike as my desk top!).

A bargain not to be missed ;)
