I've got a black Fuji Track and it came with a bottle mount on the down tube.

Duct tape is about the only option.
Actually, I lie.
You can get bottle holders that clip on the back of your saddle or seat post. Track bikes usually don't have bottle braze ons because on the track you don't need to carry a bottle of water, if you catch my drift...

Just read the spec on the fuji track, and it apparently does have bottle mounts.

scott not scot you can get special clips that hold bottle cages to the frame tubes.....i think minoura make them....easy to put on or take off.....and no need for duct tape!
There's the Zéfal Gizmo too. (First Google result; no particular retailer recommendation implied.)

There's also these.. I got one for long rides that I didn't use coz it didn't fit over fat carbon rails on my saddle:

This thread makes me sad.
Why not just buy a fixed frame that does have bottle mounts - like an IRO Mark V?

The Precursa would take it, but then Dolan make the FXE which is essentially the same thing with bottle cage mounts -

I used a KF Seatpost Adaptor (for £6) because it had the advantage of NOT having different angle options for the cage, which means it can't shift as you cycle or pull out your bottle.
However, I find the angle a little flat so that on a decent sized bump my bottle falls out.
I only have one of those cheap alu cages though so something more fancy might have better grip.To suggest you choose your frame owing to its bottle-cage options makes me a little sad! ;)

I don't think the FXE is still available is it?

In that case, what about one of these. They're down to about £160 now:
I notice the frame doesnt have any bottle mounts.
Id prefer threaded bottle mounts in the frame.
What options do I have, if I bought this bike?
