How to remove a stubborn lockring

So I've got a lockring that I need to remove. I've tried a lockring removal tool and also the screwdriver hammer technique. It loos like it's been put on with no grease so it's probably seized on. It's a new Fuji Track so it's a Formula hub. I know about the thread stripping with Formula hubs so I'll be careful with the new cog.

probably is better to get hold of a lockring tool and make sure you're turning it the right way (lockrings are left-hand threaded).

Strap a broom handle onto the lockring tool... more leverage.

Oh shite, I didnt grease my lockring or my cog. Should I dissassemble and grease both?

Make sure you are turning it the right way, it loosens/unscrews clockwise as you look at it.

a nice method I got thought on a shipyard doing my practical term at uni was heating with blowtorch (is that the right term).
