where did you find that?

great mind!

• #5
I used a capital letter on the word 'where' and the altogether more graceful 'it' instead of the rather clumsy 'that'.
You should be ashamed.

it was in the garage, it's my dad's old one he put in mothballs years ago. Are these up to much? reckon its worth riding? out of interest, how much would this go for on the bay?

• #12
Blimey, that's a good find.
I was expecting you to say you found it on the street or in a skip!
-
• #13
Looks more like it was dredged from the bottom of the ocean!! Good clean up :)

• #14
I still havent ridden it :(
Tried to fit it today, only to find that the seat rails are a different spacing to my current Selle Italia C2, and the rubbishy plain-top seat post I have (strange dimension, hence no choice on post) has a seperate rail clamp that doesnt look like it will fit. I'm presuming I'll need a different clamp - anyone got any experience with this?
-
• #15
just muscle it, it should be fine!
(disclaimer: not my fault if it breaks though... :|)
-
• #16
Nope, it definately won't fit without either a) being very unsafe or b) completely shagging the clamp (meaning I wouldnt be able to switch back to the C2) or c) damaging the rails. And they're really shiny, so I wouldnt want to be doing that.
