BB question

So ive had an old Raleigh road bike kickin around my flat for a few months. Now im not workin im gonna convert it and sell it on.

So. As it was geared before i can use everything but the cranks and rear wheel. The Cranks were originally a 3 ring set up, ive got all it off and the bb still looks ok if i just grease it up a bit, would i be able to fit a single ring crank onto it and itll all be fine??

you might want to just fit one ring to the middle ring position,to get the best chainline and get shorter chainring bolts
