  • I'll get crucified, but bars and stem aside, I like it.
Seriously though, what's that angle about?

  • I don't really like it. And the angle of the bars is wrong. If they were a bit flatter it (may) improve it a bit.

  • it's a bit mingin

  • And its alumimium...I don't doubt its stiffness but its ugly.

  • it looks like a stiff, track bike...bad picture though.

so why the antlers and brake?

I'd rather have a pompino for the road

  • I think it's their track bike that has been modded for road use with dodgy bars and drilled fork.

  • ah yes.

  • just looked at those planet x track frames on their site. Can't really say I'm normally a fan of oversized tubes on bikes but this looks pretty alright to me. A bit like the delorean but in a bike form and better too. Is it good for £400? dunno.

  • but i dont mind it dont love it..wouldnt buy it,the frame looks a little clumsy...does that make sense?

  • yuck, yuck, yucky.

  • They look like modern track bikes. I wouldn't knock one back.

  • modern track bikes, yep. this one looks better. minus the bars + stem, obviously.

  • The forks are much better on the planet-x version. the forks on the on-one just seem out of proportion.

I like those deep section rims above!!

  • these are plain ugly...
if i want a modern track bike i'll get a koga.

  • and those stems should be horizontal at least! yuk yuk!

  • same frames on all...........??

  • thats better.

  • looks very similar frame to the ones trackstar used, Bianchi concept?
    http://www.razorapple.com/tag/trackstar/

change the forks,bar/steam and the chain ring you could have a real nice bike

  • the trackstar ones are bianchi concepts, but your right forks bars stem etc......

  • That frame is available with Dolan stickers and a misaligned triangle from Ciclos Scouser, and also from Ed Wood's of Camberwell.

Sure I've seen it with other decals too.

modern track bikes, yep. this one looks better. minus the bars + stem, obviously.

someone riding this cycled past me at Aldgate the other day, it was in the rain.
I thought it looked quite fancy.

  • Sadly on-one has just announced that this is going to be pricey - 900 quid.

"...with FSA Vigorelli carbon track cranks, Nitto bars and a carbon fork. Pricing is £899, or for Cycle2Work people, we can do it for a grand, and throw in a set of Dinottes so you don't get run over."

Was hoping for a cheapo frame to beat the bejesus out over the winter. Shame also they gone for the Vigorelli cranks cause they really don't seem to be able to take a beating.

But for those of you feeling spendy, you can get those lovely planet-x carbon deep-v track wheels for the bargain price of 200 quid a wheel right now. Its a deal for someone:

  • Eww, that looks horrible.

I've never understood why anyone would want oversized tubing (unless it's for something "extreme"). Just extra metal to ride about with.

  • I don't understand planet-x or on-one at all... they seem to have a really badly put together web operation and nasty ugly bikes. I don't know why anyone would bother with them but some people seem really into it...
