Left handed courier bags are real hard to get hold of despite more than one in ten people being left handed. Been meaning to start a thread on this.

Buffalo Bill Something not made in China, please!
Should not be from what I remember Howies started off in London with a couple of guy working part time and then a few year (3 -4-5?) ago moved to south west Wales, British made I think. Things may have changed though.
Check out

and
http://www.londonfgss.com/discussion/833/anyone-got-a-bagaboo/#Item_50where people have talked about bags alot.
for a rucksac I would liek one like this by wig
Strapsto tie things on the outside. Also the main poket is big. It is all vey well having a 35 litre ruck sack made out of 3 comparments / pockets but it mean you can never fit a 35 litre item in the bag only an item at big as the largest pocket. I persnoal think you are better off wiht one big compartment with optional dividers and a couple of small pokets on the outside for wallets and keys e.t.c.

i have some howies clothing jeans t-shirts etc but now they have been brought out by timberland i may think again before buying any of their stuff, the association with 4x4 SUV driving, check shirted, fat yanks doesn't go well with eco-organic-environmentally aware cyclists.
my fave T is corporate wanker(with an arrow pointing) I wear it when i know i will have to use the tube, and try and sit next to a pink shirted gorm so the arrow is pointing at him.

Seems an over simplification. But fair enough, I don't know much about Timberland's sweatshops and I'm not about to talk about globalisation here!

I have a Howies jacket that advertised how fast the fabric dried. "3x faster!!" the tag hollared at me. It talked all about wearing it in the wet. Turns out I was shafted. Yes, truth be told if you leave the jacket out wet it does seem to get dry (can't say I timed it), however if I wear it out in the rain I'm soaked in 15 minutes!!!!
Luckily I bought it on sale and not for the £100 and something they wanted for it originally!!!
Bad Howies!! Bad! Bad!To be fair it is thin and warm, longer in back for riding, and looks cute on me. ;-)
