"We left these expensive mountain bikes unlocked outside a high street bank, and waited literally seconds before out-of-work-actors who responded to our advert in the back of 'The Stage' swarmed around them like vultures, hungry to pass on their illicit spoils to the London creatives who visit Brick Lane market, eager to get a taste of the dope-fuelled adrenaline rushes of professional cycling."
Can't wait.

"I can't afford to lose 50 quid, that's why I bought the bike..."
I started to feel sorry for the guy, but then realised if this wasn't a telly show, there would be someone at the other end who'd had his pride and joy nicked. After that I didn't bother myself with him.
I'm not surprised nobody said anything to the him when he was "stealing" his own bike. What would you expect someone to say to a scrote with 4 ft bolt cutters in his hand? I'd have thought that there would be some mobile phone pictures being taken, though.

That bit was a total copy of the NYC guy on YouTube who plugs in an angle grinder and cuts his bike free.
Who is gonna question a guy waving around an angle grinder? -

So, the only way to retrieve your stolen bike is to install a tracker device.
