Jacobs Engineering Group: Bunch of tossers.

Jacobs Engineering Group have banned their employees from cycling, on 'health and safety' grounds. Given that they're in bed with TfL, that's simultaneously horrifying yet unsurprising.

And anyway, how can your employer have any control over what you do before you start working? :S

They could do things like: require a driving license, remove all showers and bike parking. I'm sure the idiots will think of something.

I bet one of the CEO's got cut up by a cyclist on his way to work.

Maybe we should start causing (minor) traffic accidents to all the poeple who drive into their car park. Some caltrops here, a little bit of oil there, low hanging branches. That kind of thing. Just in the places where only cars would be.

I'd love to work out a way for everyone who drove in on one day to get a mildly sprained ankle :-)

This is Typical of an American Company ! We(jacobs) had bikes at the $hell Refinery last year to get from the Refinery to the Administration Building at quitting time, or to go to the Tool Crib to get stuff. They BANNED Bikes this year as well as walking to do the above mentioned. Instead we now have a Mini Bus to do this. But she always picks us up early at quitting time to take us to the Administration Building. We get there 30 minutes too early, and then get a BOLLICKING from the Jacobs Brass.
