  • Queen Boadicea Pub, 292-294 St John St, Clerkenwell at 7.30pm on June 27th

Tonight wednesday June 27th Mosquito Bikes are hosting an evening with Independent Fabrications. Joe Ingram from IF is coming over to present the IF bikes and the IF custom build philosophy. We will be showcasing the new Independent Fabrication 953 frame, the first time this bike has been seen in the UK! IF normally blow there marketing budget on a stand at the Interbike show in Las Vegas but this year they have decided to reach out and come and visit there dealers round the world!

Mosquito are the exclusive UK dealer for Independent Fabrication road and cross frames. Based in Somerville, just north of downtown Boston, IF is wholly owned by the employees themselves and the passion resulting shines through clearly in the frames themselve! s. Unlike many frame builders, Independent aren’t hostages to one mate rial but will build exactly the steel, titanium or carbon-tubed bike you’re after. And the IF philosophy of building every bike as a custom, fits really well with our expertise and use of the Sizecycle Fitting system.

As well as some great stuff from Joe, Roger (Mosquito fit guru) will be discussing the Mosquito bikefit programme and how well it ties in with the Independent Fabrication policy of building all bikes custom.
Matt Seaton (Mosquito sponsored cyclo-cross rider) will be receiving his new IF Ti Planet-Cross bike and will talk to us about the joys of cyclo-cross racing.
Guy Andrews from Rouleur will be on hand to chat about the magazine.
A representative from the Mosquito sponsored London Cyclo Cross League will also be ging a short presentation on the League and how to get involved in Cross racing.

All in all it is going to be a great evening of cycling chat in a relaxed! enviroment. The venue is the Queen Boadicea Pub, 292-294 St John St, Clerkenwell at 7.30pm on June 27th. To keep a track of numbers we need everyone to register, so anyone interested should email mail@mosquito-bikes.co.uk and we will reply with a confirmation email.
