  • We are moving orrifice.. fear us.

  • Oi oi! East is where it's at. Meet ya for a pint on brick lane.

  • My company just finished a office move from Aldwych to shoe lane.
Now I can tell everyone, 'I work in the City'.

  • New member here searching for a fixed gear bike!

Currently live opposite the Commercial Tavern on Commercial St - very close to your new office!

If anyones got an old bike they want to flog for cash please elt me know!

  • try brick lane cycles not 1,000,000 miles away

  • I did have a brief look, the refurbed bikes seemed to be between £390 and £490 - which I though was a lot! Or is it?!

I've currently got a very 'bling' looking mountain bike (used to live by Epping forest) which is actually pretty shit. Trouble is, it looks good so its going to get stolen.

Ideally I want a fixed gear bike that looks rubbish so the thieving monkeys pass it by!

  • inflation on old rubbish looking bikes / frames is running at about 100% per month currently they'll be 600 quid within the week !!

  • I'm happy go get a good looking one then give it a 'makeover' so it looks a bit grubby!

  • @hexica

I live on Quaker Street, just near the Commercial Tavern - I have a SingleSpeed bike for sale - a steel frame Dawes 2 sets of wheels (one never ridden) £250

  • How random, that street crosses mine Jon!

Bike sounds good - any photos or shall I just walk round the corner? If so, when are you about?

I'm in Sweden until Sunday afternoon, so anytime after work next week (or anytime next Tuesday as I'll be working from home).

  • My god what an awful day. I want back to Oxford St. stat! :S

Spotting vegan and Mareeoh waiting for calls was the highlight of my day. That and visiting the Dragon.

  • hahaha you can see me everyday at 155, bishops gate

i can say , i work in the city, i work in the west-end!! hahahaha

  • Ha! I'll be bike-less and dressed somewhat like a city wanker tomorrow. Gawd.. kill me.. kill me now..

  • i`ll bring my camera tomorrow just in case!! hahahaha

do not jump the lights, beware of couriers!! hahaha

  • pinstripes?

maybe you could get a rude word tattooed on your forehead to offset the banker's uniform?

or wear a badge with a picture of sheldon brown on it.

  • Sheldon badges?!?! WHERE DO I GET ONE?!?! ;)

I'm going to get tailored suits made by: Christopher Umberto Nixon Thomas

  • Heh!

  • hippy did you chase that dragon or drink in it ? and whats with the citywanker ref. thats my e-mail address i'll have you know !

  • I'm no fan of the Horse, I was drinking in it (http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/clubs/the-dragon-bar-info-11237.html).

City Wanker: a more charming description of the suited buztards that have replaced the hot media and tourist totty that used to make up my viewing day..

    fscking pink shirts... DIE!

  • Used to live 2 minutes walk from the Dragon Bar, top place.
Are the skulls in the wall still downstairs?

  • Um.. didn't look that close but there's more graf there than over the rest of London!
Is it a real Banksy they have on the wall? Fscking great escape from pink shirts and ties..

  • after 10 years working around liverpool street i have met more than my fair share of city wankers not my fave people but they pay my wages

  • True.. but it doesn't stop me bitchin' about them on here does it? :)
I'll get over it when things get sorted out at work.

  • don't bitch about them run them over !!

  • slamm Are the skulls in the wall still downstairs?

The skull piece is by Jake and Dinos Chapman.

Prolly worth a feckin fortune now.
