  • I've asked this on C+ but I'm gonna ask again here anyway - so kill me - you're all on broadband anyway!

If I don't have an entry for this London to Canterbury ride, what's stopping me just going to the start and following everyone out.. all the way to Canterbury?

  • you may be lynched

  • Sounds like fun. By who?

  • You know, I've been thinking the same.

If I turn up on a geared bike, have Dynamo strip on, and put some safety pins on my shirt and claim I lost my number... would I be able to sneak past the start line and join in anyway.

It's what I'm doing for the London to Brighton, so I don't see why not. But this is perhaps a little more organised and secure.

  • There was a good argument on C+ in that they organise this with police support and if tonnes more people come along the numbers grow too large and they stop running these events. The issue with this is that I can't see there being too many people doing this ride. How many people who missed out want to do it? Can you enter on the day to fill entries of people that bailed??
