Best alleycat I've been a part of...
8ish, friday night, everybody is drinking down at the Duke so we start an impromptu race. 1 quid entry, winner takes all. one checkpoint is the John Snow in soho. drink a half-pint (99p) and get back to the Duke.
Kuba took first and spent the winnings by buying all the racers a beer. Class! -

Well down for this. I've wanted to do an alley cat, but being slower than molassas in january is sorta preventing me....however I might have a chance if it's just a matter of throwing yourself in front of cabs....I happen to be good at this.

i know central london very well having lived here for over 10 years and having been through the front door of most of the ad agencies/photographers studios from kingsland road to knightsbridge. the area around farringdon/old st was where i spent most of my time before all the trendies moved in, metro was down the road in what is now Dust bar/restaurant, Jos was eating chocolate sprinkles in the low countries then. :-)
I have no intention of racing though as it looks like a it requires a lot of effort and i don't rlj. (the real reason is i'm not fit enough)

some tiem soon after 8th june, probly next fri/ sat after.
I had the insane idea to try to organize a 5 or 6 check point death race, i'm thinking of a small busy street (i have one in mind, think busses, taxies and pot holes) durring rush hour with un-ordered check points. probly around a 5er entry and prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd and DeadFukinLast.
if any one wants to help organize this, or be a check point let me know and we'll find some time to chat
